I host three of my own short-term rentals in Piedmont. If you own one and it has started eating your evenings, I can take it on.
I am Clarissa. I have hosted in Portland for seven years and I run three homes of my own in Piedmont: a four bedroom craftsman, a two bedroom basement suite and a studio casita. All three are permitted with the City of Portland, and all three are looked after by me and a small local team.
I take on a limited number of owner properties. That is on purpose. It means your home gets the same attention mine do, and it means you are calling a person instead of a support queue.
If you want a management company with a national footprint and a call center, I am not it. If you want someone in North Portland who will actually drive over when something breaks, keep reading.
One fee, one point of contact, and no surprise line items at the end of the month.
Photos briefed, title and description written for search, amenities mapped, and pricing set for your part of the city.
Enquiries, bookings, check-in instructions and the occasional 3am problem, handled end to end.
Scheduled around your calendar and held to the same standard as my own three homes.
Local trades booked and supervised. You get told what happened, what it cost, and why.
Permit applications, renewals, and the guest record keeping the city requires on larger listings.
A monthly summary of bookings, occupancy and payouts, sent without you having to chase it.
A call to work out whether your property and my setup are a fit. No pitch deck, no pressure. If it is not right I will tell you on that call.
Permit check first, then photos, listing build, pricing, cleaning and supplies. You will get a straight list of what needs doing before it goes live.
Bookings come in, guests get looked after, and a monthly report lands in your inbox. You go back to your actual job.
No awards, no badges and no borrowed logos. Just the record of what I actually run in this city, which you can check on any of my listings before you call.
Every short-term rental in Portland needs an Accessory Short-Term Rental permit, and larger homes carry extra requirements on top. My four bedroom is registered through the city’s land use process and keeps a guest record for every stay, because that is what Portland asks of listings that size.
If your permit has lapsed, or you have never applied, that is the first conversation we have. Getting this wrong is the quickest way to lose a listing, and it is not something you want to discover after a complaint.
Fees depend on the property, how much setup it needs and the level of service you want. Call me and I will give you a straight number for your specific home rather than a range that means nothing.
Yes. It is your house. Block the dates you want for your own use and let me know in advance so I can plan cleaning and pricing around them.
Small format short-term rentals in North and Northeast Portland, roughly within a short drive of Piedmont. If you are further out, tell me where and I will be honest about whether I can cover it properly.
Yes. Applications, renewals and the guest record keeping. If your permit has lapsed or you have never applied, I will tell you that before we go any further, because it is the fastest way to lose a listing.
It depends on permit status and how ready the property already is. Once those are sorted, building and launching the listing is usually the quick part. I will give you a realistic date once I have seen the place.
Deliberately few. I take on a limited number of owner properties so each one gets the attention my own three get. If I am full, I will say so rather than stretch and do a worse job.
Send me the address, how many bedrooms, and whether you already hold a permit. I will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing, what I would change first, and what it would earn. If it is not a fit, I will say so on the call rather than three weeks later.
